    長期從事水工結構工程與抗震研究,提出一種無限邊界單元以模擬不規則無限域,并與有限單元耦合,提出了拱壩-地基-庫水動力相互作用的時域模型,使高拱壩及其耦聯系統在強地震下可以考慮無限地基的輻射阻尼與地震自由場幅差與相位差影響。理論模型還將地基無限域與拱壩結構橫縫非線性結合起來,得到了考慮地基輻射阻尼可降低拱壩地震響應25%~30%的結論亚博app买足彩,已應用于我國300米級高拱壩抗震設計中亚博app买足彩,對高拱壩安全評價具有重要意義。
    運用動力邊界元法與斷裂力學原理提出重力壩地震斷裂與拱壩裂縫擴展模型,將這一模型發展到各向異性介質與非線性混凝土材料亚博app买足彩,進行了斷裂試驗驗證亚博app买足彩亚博app买足彩,應用于多座混凝土壩抗震設計;在拱壩-庫水-淤沙動力相互作用方面運用飽和多孔粘彈性模型得到了庫水淤沙的反射特性;在邊坡與地下工程研究方面提出了時域邊界元與離散元耦合模型,應用于三峽船閘高邊坡變形穩定預報以及地下廠房的抗震穩定分析。
    科研項目
    研究緊密結合我國水利水電高壩工程實踐,完成了三峽、二灘、小灣、溪落渡等30多項高壩結構與抗震等關鍵技術研究。已培養工學博士30余名。發表論文200余篇,SCI收錄30余篇,SCI他引130篇次以上,合作撰寫專著3部,其中《Numerical Modeling of Concrete Dam-Foundation-Reservoir Systems》為英文版清華大學學術專著。
